Alright, so for those of you who have seen Pitch Perfect remember the many references to this movie. Like in the end when the Barden Bella's are singing their final song and Jesse raises his arm up to "Don't You" by Simpleminds just like Bender did at the end of the movie. I mean who didn't love that part? I was just like AHHH!
Anyways, this movie is 5 high school students who are from different social groups that ended up in detention on the same Saturday. Well, throughout the day the seem to almost bond. They soon learn that despite their differences, they all have a lot in common. Many teenagers can actually relate to this movie. There's the brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, and criminal. Just like every high school has and almost every teenager fits into one of these categories. Also, just like in high school we all think we know the other person just based off of appearances and who that person hangs out with but in the end, we don't know them at all. This movie is not only an amazing one but also will teach everyone a lesson they have heard time and time again, "Don't judge a book by its cover."
